There are some wedding days that feel especially meaningful — not because of any one moment, but because of the atmosphere that surrounds the entire celebration. Quinlan and Ben’s summer wedding was one of those days.
Set against the natural beauty of St. James Farm, their ceremony unfolded beneath a stunning allée of trees, creating a setting that felt both peaceful and intentional. It was a gorgeous summer day, the kind that invites everyone to slow down and fully take in the moment.
What made this day truly special, though, was the people.
Both Quinlan and Ben come from large families, and it was immediately evident how deeply connected everyone was. There was a genuine sense of joy and connection throughout the day, something that felt deeply rooted in their shared love for the Lord and reflected in the way their families came together so naturally. From the quiet moments before the ceremony to the energy on the dance floor later that evening, every interaction carried a sense of warmth and belonging.
The ceremony itself held several meaningful details. Quinlan walked down the aisle with both of her parents — a moment that felt deeply significant. She also wore her grandmother’s wedding band, while her cousin and bridesmaid wore their grandmother’s engagement ring, a beautiful connection between generations that we were honored to preserve. Quinlan had also grown some of the flowers herself, adding an incredibly personal touch to the day’s details.
Throughout the day, it was clear how much family meant to both of them. Quinlan’s nieces and nephew brought so much life and joy to the celebration, while Ben especially valued the time spent capturing moments with his family. Their first dance was another highlight — a quiet, meaningful moment amidst a day full of celebration.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club, where the evening carried the same sense of joy and connection. With music provided by Just Press Play Productions and thoughtful touches throughout the reception space by DuPage Tents & Events, the night felt both lively and grounded — a true reflection of Quinlan and Ben.
Weddings like this are a reminder that while every detail matters, it’s ultimately the people and the relationships that shape the experience. Days like these are not only beautiful in the moment, but grow more meaningful with time.
It was an honor to preserve the beginning of Quinlan and Ben’s story in such a thoughtful and joy-filled setting.
